Story
Jacque Pierce was just an ordinary 17-year-old girl getting ready to start her senior year of high school in Coldspring, Texas. When a mysterious foreign exchange student from Romania moves in across the street, Jacque and her two best friends don't realize the last two weeks of their summer are going to get a lot more interesting. From the moment Jacque sets eyes on Fane she feels an instant connection; a pull like a moth to a flame. Little does she know that the flame she is drawn to is actually a Canis Lupus, werewolf, and she just happens to be his mate.

Story
I killed a girl last night. I did it with my bare hands and an old piece of pipe I found lying next to the dumpster. But that's not the part that got me. The part that scared me, the part I can't seem to wrap my head around and still has me reeling, was that when she charged me, her body shifted - and then she was a wolf. All snapping teeth and extended claws.

Summary
The Romanian and Serbian Canis lupus rest in an uneasy peace. One of their own, Sally Miklos, the young and powerful gypsy healer, aids Perizada in her quest to defeat Volcan, a long-forgotten nightmare returned to our world. These two packs watch as their brothers across the world, wolves from Spain, Ireland, and America, join their own forces in the battle against the evil dark fae. At the same time, the packs hope against hope that their presence might reveal a mate bond between a pack member and one of the five recently discovered gypsy healers.
While Jacque and Jen miss Sally, their longtime best friend, they have bided their time dealing with their own domestic issues. Jacque and Fane are anticipating the birth of their first child and Jen and Decebel face the challenges of caring for an infant. Both girls are eagerly awaiting Sally's return, and have Perizada's word that she will be back in time for the birth of Jacque's baby.
Vasile and Alina, the Alpha pair of the Romanian pack, are enjoying this time of peace. But Vasile did not become the most powerful Alpha in centuries by being a fool. He has lived long enough to know that there is always another battle on the horizon.

THIS MADE ME SO ANGRY. WHY CHANGE THE NARRATOR TOWARDS THE END OF THE SERIES? BRING BACK ABBY! SHE WAS SO GOOD AT HER JOB AND BROUGHT THE CHARACTERS TO LIFE.

WHY CHANGE NARRATOR??
the story line is as good as ever! The narrator should of realized she was reading book 9 in the series, and pronounced the names the same. I felt lost, sad and disappointed. narrator made our beloved characters sound middle aged Americans not Romanian. please do not let her read the next book! bring our original narrator back!!!!

Why change the narrator at book 8.5?
By changing the narrator, it’s very difficult to relax and continue the Grey wolves series. Pronunciation of names is so different it left me wondering who was talking. I miss the old Jen!

Disappointed
I was in shock when I started listening to the book. The new reader butchered the names of the characters. If I wasn't already 8 books into the series. I would have stopped listening. It was like a bad imitation of the voice from "the godfather movie". I might have enjoyed the story but I couldn't get past how horrible the reader was. If she is reading the last book I will probably just go to the library or somewhere and get it to read. If I can find the time to read it.

Disappointing
I wish they would have used the same narrator from the rest of the series. This narrator wasn't even saying the characters named properly. An editor should have caught that one. Waste of money.

WHAT THE H***?!!!!!
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I took all of my willpower to get through this book. I love the Grey Wolves series but this was painful. I own all the books but I like the audiobook for when I at work. The narrator is awful! SO UNBELIEVABLY HORRIBLE!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Den of Sorrows?
Reading the paper copy not listening to the audiobook....
What didn’t you like about Teri Schnaubelt’s performance?
HORRIBLE! Why would you switch narrators in the middle of a series? Bring back Abby! Her voice is awful and she pronounces the names wrong! She ruined this book within 30 seconds of hearing this.
Any additional comments?
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not use this narrator again. I love your series but I can't listen to another book read by her. It's the worst narrator I've ever listen to. 8 books read by Abby and she was amazing. Teri just doesn't fit the bill. Please bring Abby back!

Horrible Narrator
Horrible narrator and who reviewed it before sending it to audible? I will not listen to the next one, I'll read it myself and hear the original narrator, in my head!

WHAT HAPPENED??!!!
I waited all this time for book 9 to come to Audible...re read books 1-8; only to be disappointed by the new narrator. They either need to redo with the original narrator or refund my credit.
