I stumbled upon this audio book book and realised it was one of my favourite disaster novels from my younger days as a kid! Really enjoyed listening to it to it and was surprised how well it has held up! Set in a pre mobile phone and computer era and also before the Thames barrier was completed. Interesting to see that politicians in this period were as useless as today’s motley crowd! Well worth a listen and much better than a recent tv drama series on the same subject!
