Summary

Dammit , just how many toes was she going to have to stomp on before people realized she was a Delicate Freakn' Flower? Naomi doesn't want to follow tradition and settle down with a violence-loving, chest-thumping shapeshifter. She grew up in a household with five testosterone-laden brothers where none of the dishes ever matched, the ugly-as-sin furniture could withstand any catastrophe, and crazy glue was bought by the case.

When fate - with a snicker - makes her meet not one but two mates, Naomi digs her heels in and refuses to do what her wolf - and her body - demand. No way is she voluntarily allowing herself to get hitched to a pair of dumbass - totally hot and muscled - lacrosse players. Can Ethan, the towering Kodiak bear, and Javier, the sexy, tanned jaguar convince this she-wolf that life with them won't be all chaos? And can this Delicate Freakn' Flower unbend her prejudices enough to recognize she needs a pair of men who can handle her thorns - and her passion?

Brilliant!

Any additional comments?

Another amazing offering from Eve Langlais! I loved this book and the three main characters Ethan, Javier and Naomi! She made me laugh with her insistenance that she was a 'Delicate Freakn' Flower' even as she had her brothers and father terrified of her moodswings and regularily threatened to castrate the guys around her with her bare hands! All in all I really liked her! Lol! Javier was a real charmer but also a good guy and Ethan was a sweetie but they were both hot and totally head over heels for Naomi but damn she made them work for her!

I think it was Javier who said that fate couldn't have chosen a better group for a menage mating and he was right cause he and Ethan have been best friends since university and knew each other's strengths and weaknesses which enabled them to work together really well to win Naomi over, plus there was no jealousy or posturing between them, they really did work together including praising the other to Naomi as well and damn they knew how to work together in the bedroom! Naomi is a lucky lucky girl! A very funny and very hot read! Highly reccommend it!

not what I expected

extreme dislike. thought it would be a little edgy ... not .... no story .... no plot ... narration awful ..... another 3 sentences then sex ..... then nothing. Author didn't write a story, edgy or otherwise, nor was a plot formulated; just poorly described preadolescent sex dreams without even a decent narration to cover up any of the deficiencies.

Awesome read.

Awesome read. The narrator does a excellent job of capturing the humor and steam. A well written story and developed characters. But boy them brothers would drive anyone mad.

Funny sexy story of changing the mind of an opinionated shifter woman

Naomi, a wolf shifter, wants a more civilized human for a mate rather than a stupid uncouth shifter. At an indoor Lacrosse game, she is spotted in the stands by a behemoth Kodiak shifter. He is so taken with her being his mate he misses the ball which hits her in the face. When he and his Jaguar shifter team mate meet her to apologize, it is apparent that both men are her mates. She wants nothing to do with stupid athletes and denies their claim. Much hilarious wooing follows.

meh.

struggled with narrators portrayal of characters. she made some very immature or sounding. the guy sounded almost skater or Cali surfer.
The story was funny and pretty good.

Excellent except for a missing accent.

I own this book and have read it several times. I love it, it cracks me up and I love all the characters. When I saw it available on Audible, I had to get it. I think the narrator does an excellent job except for one little complaint I have. I always imagined Javier having a slight Spanish/Latin American accent. He may not use Spanish words in the book, and the book never says he has an accent, but it's in the smooth way he talks. The way she has him talk doesn't quite fit with the words he uses when he's smooth-talking her, IMO. So I was looking forward to hearing him with that accent and am disappointed not to, but otherwise she did an excellent job.
