Aun siendo crítico con el arte militar de su tiempo,y pese a la validez puramente especulativa que puede atribuirse a lamayoría de sus propuestas, ""Del arte de la guerra"" es una genialexhibición de teorización política y militar que planteó en su época lascualidades políticas que hacen del soldado un ciudadano democrático.Un "Maquiavelo" cuya principal ambición es presentar la asociaciónindisoluble que en el Estado democrático informa la relación "Milicia y de República"....
