    Hard as hell, but essential

This is my third PowerBI & Python course and so far the best one yet. William Bahl is a great instructor, and he takes his time explaining each feature of the program. I was impressed by his depth of knowledge of the subject and his teaching style. I particularly enjoyed the How to use MNIST vision dataset section, because he used plenty of examples to create measures and calculated fields.

    Readable, modern, and applicable

Great course pitched at the right level. A lot of additional 'pro-tip' information is provided, such as how to set up a rolling calendar, which is extremely useful to know for upcoming projects. Very clear descriptions presented well with quality supporting data. Looking forward to the rest of the course material.

    Accessible yet thorough

Very interesting and is beyond what l was expecting from this product. The only thing l would suggest at the start is talking about data sanitisation with reference to primarty and foreign keys as this is the baseline for all data analysis. There's some new concepts to really get your head around which l hope come to make more sense with practice.

Look At An Incredibly Complex Topic

If you're an intermediate Excel user looking to go to the next step this course is great because he relates database concepts back to Excel. Will be recommending this course to all the people I work with because it's a great stepping stone between simple excel spreadsheets and SQL development.

Come for the theory, stay for the practical

I would GREATLY SUGGEST this course for any person wanting to get under the hood of Power BI Desktop. So much information is relayed and shared in each section that I have gone through slides more than once and learnt something new every time. Thank you for such an in-depth dissection for a first time user. I will continue to reference this course.

    Broad, Mathematical Survey

It was my first course on Audible.com and I am really impressed by the effort put in the lectures & assignments. I really liked the fluid presentation & systematic teaching. I feel empowered to use this completely new tool. Overall, I loved the course & would definitely recommend it. Godspeed.

Fascinating Read in2 Cmptr Learning Using Python!

Successful teaching involves two equally important components - subject matter knowledge and teaching/communications skills. This course embodied both very well. I found it a very worthwhile investment of my time.

    Information clearly presented

I like the systematic step by step approach in this class. This is perfect for a beginner in Power BI! I have learned so much and only about half way done. Great course!

Best of all Power BI courses I ve taken.

It appears to be a very good course so far. I appreciate that he separated the perceptron from the normal NN whereas many people continue the misnomer or wrong concept calling multi-layered NNs "multi-level perceptrons" which sort of creeps me out a bit. Perceptrons don't use your normal back propagation. They're entirely different. They're based on a different philosophy altogether. I like the clarity of the instructor's voice here and his advice on the order in which to learn things. This should be very helpful for learners who want to set up rubricks for themselves to follow and make sure they can learn each area well in the most effective order. Often it takes hearing things from the perspective of multiple teachers. It's easy to get stuck on some points and have trouble understanding it until a person relaxes and listens to the subject matter being taught by someone else. That does not mean the instructor is bad, but rather that sometimes a person can get stuck and hearing the same thing in the same way over again will not provide the breakthrough needed, but hearing the material from someone else may do the trick. All in all, I think this instructor is one of the best ones I have heard in this field. I used Andrew Ng's and Geoffrey Hinton's rigorous courses to learn this field as well as I could and am about to finish Ng's courses and am part way through Hinton's course and need to finish it by this coming October 19. So I cannot afford to get stuck very long. But I get stuck anyway once in awhile. Most of the time I can just push through but I want perfect scores throughout with perhaps a few near perfect scores. I am happy to have several courses like this on the side both for review or reinforcement of what I have already learned, and for making it easier to get the breakthroughs I need when things get tough. Andrew Ng's YOLO2 assignment was a little sticky, for example. Great assignment, but a little tough, and it's mostly because I'm not that good at tensorflow or Keras yet. I'll feel I am strong when I can go through courses like this and pretty well ace everything in them. And then I can do the same with Kaggle and projects from other sources until I can face any ML challenge confidently and competently. I am very thankful for these courses What are commonly used convolutional filters. Now I have just enough information to be really dangerous. The course covered all the major components of Power BI in enough detail for a newby like myself, that had never used PBI, to hit the ground running. I thought the pace was perfect and Chris did an excellent job of thoroughly explaining concepts and walking step by step through each lecture. He includes a lot of tips and best practices which are valuable moving forward. I highly recommend this course if your new to PBI. Thumbs up!!!

    Theoretical bible for deep learning

This course provides a detailed overview of what someone starting out needs to learn in order to feel like they have a solid foundation to build on. A lot of Power BI and Neural Networks in Python courses on the Audible platform seem to break into multiple courses what Chris has explained in one comprehensive study package. I found Anthony's teaching style to be reassuring and paced very well for my comprehension. I will feel reassured coming back to review aspects of the Audios as I try some of this stuff out in the real world. Of course, it's unlikely the course will have covered everything there is to know on Power BI but again, for what it is titled as it fulfils its remit and I feel equipped to push on & learn lots more. Would take other courses by this instructor. One suggestion for future development would be for Anthony and team to put together a course to introduce more advanced concepts of Power BI use e.g. I've encountered YouTube videos or web pages showing Variables & multi-line DAX measures and also the importance of Cardinality and sometimes unavoidable many to many relationship data models. I would be keen on a course that broke down these concepts in a student friendly manner like I found this course to be.

    Mesmerizing

As a newcomer to Power BI, this was a very good introduction course! Started at a new job with new tools and without anyone to train me. I feel like I had a very thorough training now! The only thing I did not like was the focus on people coming from Excel. My previous experience comes from R, SAS, Qlik, SQL, and I avoided Excel as much as possible. To Solving computer vision tasks using convolutional neural networks is must listen here.

The classic audiobook on Deep Learning

Excellent audio book! Very informative, and love the real world example. The Real world applications of data analysis and What are commonly used convolutional filters are good indicators if I'm understanding the material, or need to revisit it. Challenges? Sometimes it is difficult to keep up because of changes in UI due to monthly MS updates.

Likely to be heavily cited in future ...

I am so excited by taking this book. I did half of it so far, and all lectures and labs are straight forward and easy to follow. I recommend this course for anyone wants to learn Power BI from scratch and Architecture of convolutional neural networks. Many thanks to Anthony.

    Flagship book for Deep Learning

This course makes a wonderful job in explaining Power BI environment and its functions. It shines because of its excellent structure, where you get a peek at the final report at the beginning and then you build it step by step with a clear vision where this is going. Also, highlighting of important stuff is done really well.

    DEEP LEARNING, is OUTSTANDING

So far so good. Trying to stay focused. It might be good to have a short import, query edit, BI Intro, DAX work, Report work. One example quickly all the way through. Then dig into this extended example. I'm wavering with attention. Great content, all useful. Tiring to learn and I love Deep learning books of 2.

    DL resource

A fantastic follow up class to his Power BI service and data modelling, also Solving computer vision tasks using convolutional neural networks. There was some similar podcasts in both classes, but I do feel it helped me with understanding the concepts being taught. The Power BI part of this class was very helpful and informational, it was great class overall!

    Current essential listening

I already knew quite a bit that I had learnt myself about Power BI, but the structured way that Chris taught has provided a worthwhile model for me to work towards to give my senior management the type of BI that they need rather than what they presently receive. Well recommended course.

Anthony, I can't thank you enough!

After finishing all of your Excel courses I was interested to learn more about Data Analysis and I bought this course. Great value for what we are paying! Thanks!
