too quick to end.

leaves you hanging no closure to current story line. it really forces you to get next book in series. past 3 books should have been ONE.

Better than the previous book

Any additional comments?

Having read all of the previous books its clear that the series fluctuates between being amazing and a bit poor. This book in my opinion is better than the previous one but not as good as some of the others. Its hopefully building up for a strong ending as this is fairly close to the last book.

There are some good scenes here and there but generally a lot of filler. The chapters at the end are the best and there is a good action scene at the very end. Still though, its slow paced up to that point and there is so much filler that Alpha team STILL haven't started their mission in Africa.... it feels like three books ago they were getting ready to start it.

The chapters with the battleships fighting were intense and pretty solid, I enjoyed them but they are also excellent examples of how everything in this series kind of just goes wrong several times until it would be nearly impossible to get out of it alive - and then someone will do the impossible and save the day last second.

Overall though, a pretty solid book but not near the standard of some of the previous books.

Great ride

Great story, compelling, the use of female characters in unlikely situations ie socially engineered feminist influence which is pushed down authors throats, is disconcerting. But a powerful and compelling read!

As good as all the others

I nearly skipped this title because several reviews said this book focused too heavily on character development to the detriment of the story.
NO SO!
In my opinion this books was just as good as all the others. Glad I didn't skip it and miss out. I found the story vivid and entertaining.
Enjoy!
