A victim on ice, a killer on the loose, and a determined sleuth who won’t rest until the case is solved.
When Richard Jackson goes missing in the small town of Raven’s Point, the entire community is baffled. Helen Wright discovers his body in a freezer, revealing that Richard didn’t disappear—he was murdered. Maybelle, having been reprimanded before for interfering with police investigations, vows to conduct her sleuthing in secret this time.
Peter Nelson, Raven’s Point’s top detective, is running in circles. With no evidence on the body, no murder weapon, and no apparent connection between the property owner and Richard Jackson, the case stalls. However, anonymous tips start coming in through the hotline, giving Peter new leads.
Meanwhile, Maybelle’s investigation is moving slower than she hoped, hampered by the lack of a murder weapon and a time of death. Determined to find Richard Jackson’s killer, she carefully avoids crossing paths with Peter Nelson. As the lack of evidence frustrates both Peter and Maybelle, their mutual attraction grows stronger.
Will they embrace their feelings for each other before the murderer is caught?
Find out in this clean cozy mystery that will keep you listening until the crime is finally solved.
