In the final story, Sir Henry Clithering, ex-commissioner of Scotland Yard, is staying with his friends Colonel and Mrs Bantry, when news arrives that the village innkeeper’s daughter has met her ‘death by drowning.’

A selection of short stories by Agatha Christie brilliantly read by Joan Hickson who in my mind has been the best Miss Marple. Turn the light off & just listen to Joan Hickson take you into the world of Miss Marple. It is easy listening at it's best. I agree with some of the other reviews in that this is just the second half of another audiobook. I think it is quite cynical to rebrand this & rename it to get people to purchase both. My ratings is based on this book in isolation otherwise they would be much lower & I would be annoyed at the blatant greed & cynicism in rebranding this as new instead of half a book.
