Story
After the marriage of Jane and Mr. Bingley, Lizzie is invited to stay with them at their estate in London. She plans on meeting with Mr. Holmes again, in hopes of working another case. When she does call upon him in his London apartment, the two hit the ground running. Mr. Holmes has been retained as a private detective in the case of a murder and missing treasure. He is initially intrigued because the murder appears accidental and was ruled as such by the coroner. Lizzie must learn to balance her newly found love of solving crimes with her family’s and society’s expectations of her. She is expected to settle down and marry, but her love of detective work and observation has eliminated her own desire to marry, especially as she begins to realize that it is possible to make a living from doing such things as solving crimes.

Story
Darcy: A woman as brilliant, beautiful, and witty as Elizabeth Bennet deserves a good match. One better than her silly cousin, or that irredeemable rake, Wickham, who I know to be much different from the image he presents to the world. Can I save her from committing herself to a disastrous marriage? Elizabeth: Considering he finds me merely tolerable, the unpleasant Mr. Darcy is unduly obsessed with the gentlemen who wish to court me. I cannot imagine why Darcy thinks his opinions would sway me, nor can I understand why I cannot stop thinking about the infuriating man.

Summary
Witness the beginning of a collaboration between two legendary literary characters!
Elizabeth Bennet first encounters Sherlock Holmes at a public ball, where both are intrigued by the other. Although she finds him to be abrasive and uncouth, she cannot help but admire his ability to discover secrets and scandals with nothing more than a glance.
At a private ball, an officer is mysteriously murdered, his killer leaving little evidence behind. Holmes and Bennet join forces to solve the case, and as they dive deeper into the murder victim’s sordid past, they discover truths about those closest to them that they may have preferred to have kept hidden.

Can't compare with either of the originals...
...but this is still a quick and enjoyable listen. Lizzy takes the place of Dr Watson and narrates the story of her first meeting (and first case) with Sherlock Holmes. EWs narration is okay, but nothing special. Overall, I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could.

An interesting merger of two worlds.
A (bit weird) combination of Pride and Prejudice and Sherlock Holmes. But it works? It's very short, so a quick and interesting merging of two worlds.
