The two main protagonists are ATF federal agents and each book takes them into different dangerous situations. Their emotional relationship develops a a slow pace but the physical one is there in full force.
I would recommend the box set for people who enjoy romance and crime stories. I personally thought the sexual scenes were too numerous and became slightly repetitive although
the relationship (male homosexuality) was totally appropriate within the stories.

I am truely positively surprised by this boxset.
Gruff, slightly damaged men doing the best they can in their jobs for ATF and other alfabet and the police force. Especially Thayne and Jarod, they to me the central/ primary characters. They have 'attract trouble' attached to their names. Each book in the set follows an investgation and the development of a relationship, we also follow the two men mentioned through building their relationship. Therr is 'spice' throughout, the mental/ pyschological relationships develop slower; not a stretch with all their mental bagage.

I had to get used to the intonation, it seemed different to what I am used to by Michael Dean. The hours flew by due to the stories and narration. I did a relisten straight after for all books in the series.
