he points out the obvious and suggests alternate ways of thinking but doesnt really realistically account for the stubborn behaviours caused by hardwiring. his approach is on a conscious level but there are methods and techniques necessary on a more unconscious level necessary to change so i dont rate it highly

Stating the obvious

Most of the book is common sense and stating the obvious. It only starts getting into practical advice in chapter 10, some of which is useful, but much of which is common sense. Overall, disappointing and underwhelming.

FOOD FOR THOUGHTS

I really like this audiobook. I initially listen it in order to learn how to deal with some difficult people in my workplace, but listening it I actually realized how I myself could be difficult as well sometimes. It certainly gave me food for thoughts.

communication is key

I like the book overall. It didn't lull me to sleep with too much psychology, but instead created perfect characters that fit into my world. I was reassured by the book that I am currently practicing the correct tactics for dealing with difficult people.
