Summary
A devastating terror attack strikes at the heart of Birmingham...but is all as it seems?
When DI Zoe Finch and her colleagues rush to respond to a terrorist attack, the city is plunged into chaos.
But Zoe begins to suspect that all is not as it seems.
Could the attack be a smokeshield for other criminal activity? And are Zoe's own colleagues involved in that cover-up?
Deadly Terror is Book 4 in the "superb" Detective Zoe Finch series, perfect for fans of Angela Marsons and Caroline Mitchell.

Once again, appalling Scottish accent grates
I absolutely love Jan Cramer as a narrator and seek out her performances, but she really should sack the full-on caricature of a Scottish accent she always does. Same as in the last book. Sounded like a cross between Groundskeeper Willie from the Sinpsons and Mac Witch from Rentagohst. apart from that, I loved this.

Well spoiled by incorrect and and unbelievable Police procedures regarding air crashes and bombings.
Air crashes are not investigated by the police. Or the local fire service. The CAA the planes manufactures to name a few. Bombs are investigated by the Met Police anti terrorist branch Special branch MI5. Not local plod. But not too Bab a yarn. And all briefings in such cases would have ACC s observing. There are investigation investigation log books for the chief investigating officer to explain his her actions.
