We have met both Patty and Reece in previous books and whilst I loved Patty immediately, I was unsure about Reece. But within two chapters he had completely won me over, it takes most of the book to get to know him and his very complex background fully..but by then you are putty in his hands and just as smitten as Patty is!

As with most of this NY State Troopers series there are twists that you see coming, and they lull you into a false sense of knowing before..BAM..the unseen and most unexpected twists blindside you.

I have both read this book on Kindle Unlimited and listened to it on Audible, this Audible version definitely gives more depth and is more enjoyable..
