I loved this book, Great that it was set in Birmingham I loved Ava’s character The narrator was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed the interview with Marie Tierney I always like to know how the author comes up with story, characters and where they get their inspiration from. Really great debut and so pleased that there will be a book number 2

At last we have a detective who doesn't have a 'background'. Delahay is refreshing. Ava is amazing, she is intelligent and her interests fit in really well. Narrator is great too. Love that it is set in the 80's before a lot of techniques and technology were around. Really hoping there will be more in the series.
