Summary
Sookie Stackhouse is a small-town cocktail waitress in small-town Louisiana. She's pretty. She does her job well. She keeps to herself - she has only a few close friends, because not everyone appreciates Sookie's gift: she can read minds. That's not exactly every man's idea of date bait - unless they're undead - vampires and the like can be tough to read. And that's just the kind of guy Sookie's been looking for.
Maybe that's why, when she comes across a naked vampire on the way home from work, she doesn't just drive on by. He hasn't got a clue who he is, but Sookie has: Eric looks just as scary and sexy - and dead - as the day she met him. But now he has amnesia, he's sweet, vulnerable, and in need of Sookie's help - because whoever took his memory now wants his life.
Sookie's investigation into what's going on leads her straight into a dangerous battle between witches, vampires and werewolves. But there could be even greater danger - to Sookie's heart, because the kinder, gentler Eric is very hard to resist.

Narrator gives excellent performance
Listened to this book 2 or 3 times. It's the narrator that makes the story so enjoyable. I would listen again and again

Which witch vampire....
Another engaging story in the Sookie Stackhouse series.
It left me wondering “what next” all the way through and at the end wanting to hear what next...
Good story (a bit racy at times!!).

Dead To The World
This is book 4 in the Sookie Stackhouse series and one of my favourites. Eric has no idea who he is, and Sookie agrees to keep him with her until he regains his memory, but as usual, she takes on more than she bargained for, and this time, there are some unseen repercussions. With Charlaine Harris's trademark snappy style, exciting plot and great characters, this is a must-listen.

Go Sookie!
Sookie is still reeling from her betrayal by Bill and is therefore a little vulnerable at the moment. Bill has been sent away on business and she is left alone. On her way home from work she comes across a naked Eric who is running towards her house. Stunned she takes him in and what follows is a wonderfully entertaining story of how, why and what to do about this situation as Eric dosen't seem to know who he is. On top of this Jason has also disappeared. I already own all the books but this one was one of my favourites and thought it would be great to have it on audio, I wasn't disappointed - the narration is wonderful she gets the 'voice' of Sookie just how I imagined her.
