It really made me think; not a story and plot that I had heard before

Interesting enough to re read to confirm clever plot

Once things started to make sense it was really enjoyable. crazy idea, but would it work in reality? who knows?

For me, concentration was required, lots of characters, story was good and matched the fictional category. Great narrator, love his voice. Wee twist at the end.

Great narrator good story

Story moved along nicely not getting bogged down by describing every little thing like many do

Easy listening

For me I had two issues with this book. The pace was unbalanced, focusing more on the inane than the actual plot. Therefore when, finally something interesting did occur, it was over quite quickly (but well written). However the majority was droll, needlessly lengthy, added little to the story and could easily have been cut which would have improved the book.

Secondly, the characters were really lacking They seemed accurate technical sketches of archetypes as opposed to real people. This left the characters more like gauche marionettes that prevented the story from coming to life.

Lacking pace
