This is another great Scottish tale, with a brilliant narrator, Angus King does it again, entertaining throughout. The story is marvellous too though, good cops vs corruption, with lots of action in the process. I sincerely hope this will be the start of a long line of Max Craigie stories.

Apparently some people are not liking Angus King's narration from the other reviews I've just seen, you might want to try listening to the preview before buying if you have trouble understanding Scottish accents.

Another great Scottish tale

Binge listened to this. Can't wait for the next instalment. Will make my way through Neil Lancaster's earlier works, while I wait on its release date.

A superbly crafted thriller that had me on board from the first chapter. Max Craigie is a complex, yet entirely believable lead character, who I liked more and more as the story unfolded. For a picky ex-cop like myself, the police procedure aspects and dialogue between officers was spot-on. In my mind, this is undoubtedly Neil Lancaster's best book to date.

Lancaster's best yet!
