I loved Daybreak every bit as much as Nightshade. I listened to the two books back-to-back because I simply didn't want to leave these characters or their story behind.

Once again, the narration was incredible. Elloise Thomson and Liam Cortright bring these characters to life so beautifully – and Liam's accent... honestly, I think I'm in love! 😂❤️

Both books have so much wit and personality. They had me laughing out loud, almost crying, completely caught up in the mystery and twists, and yet somehow I finished them feeling genuinely uplifted. There are darker and more emotional moments, but at the heart of the story is such a lovely romance between two people who really have to fight for themselves and for each other.

The characters, humour, mystery, romance and unexpected twists all worked so well together. I became so invested that when I finished Daybreak, I immediately started looking to see whether Autumn Woods had written anything else – which probably says everything!

I honestly can't recommend Nightshade and Daybreak enough. Without question, one of my favourite Audible listens of 2026. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Oh. My. God. I absolutely loved Nightshade the second I started listening to it, and I waited quite impatiently for Daybreak and when I tell you I almost cried when I got my hands on it, that's an understatement. This book seriously did not disappoint, and Alex's and Ophelia's story is still as devastating and as heartwarming as it has always been. Daybreak was able to offer a more detailed dive into the dynamics of Alex's and Ophelia's relationship, and also extended the care and thought towards the story of Alex's home life. Layers upon layers of love, tragedy, despair, and utter yearning created this masterpiece of a book. I giggled, I cried, I gasped, and I laughed, but most importantly, I absolutely loved the whole thing.
