Very detailed!

I love the book lots. it's well explained and detailed regarding the different parts in Data Mining techniques and Machine Learning algorithms. My favorite parts of the book are getting through step by step of each algorithm, how well the author explained about benefit of those algorithm; how it has been used and how those algorithm benefit the community, company and organization; and the final thing is review questions and exercises at the end of each chapter which helps to buzz up my understanding. The book inspired me more to explore the knowledge of Machine Learning and Data Mining and I'm eager to get a hands on experience as a data engineer.

Suggested!

Actually working with codes and Web application development frameworks made me to think about some thing different in the field of Data Engineering. I consulted with my professor and he suggested me to start journey towards the data science, i need to first study the "Data Analytics". But i was confused about which book do i select? Which book do i follow? and one of my friend suggested me to try this book. When i gone through this book, i was able to learn different algorithms and techniques in the field of Data Mining and machine learning.

Used different data analysis techniques

This book is great. Very easy to understand the core concept of data analytic. This book shows the big picture of data power and its need for the current competitive market with a lot of real scenario examples. The best thing that I found in this book is solved problems. The problem can be solved by using analysis tools but we do not get what is going under the hood. It explains very clearly where, when and how to use different data analysis techniques and tools. I would say that this book is a gateway to the world of Data.

Clear explanation!

Clear and concise introduction to ML. If you don’t have a background in data science, I wouldn’t let this stop you from picking up this book. My own expertise is in mobile web development, which is outside the scope of this book title, but I had no problems going through it.

Pretty good introduction

The book it's a pretty good introduction to the machine learning field as the name suggests. It's enough to give you a quick grasp of some of the most used concepts in the ML/deep learning field. Nevertheless, the author also explains the pros and cons of both methodologies and when they are useful or a complete waste of time/money.

Very useful!

This book covers the basics through implementation of simple machine learning. It was entertaining and highly educational. I especially appreciated the effort made by the author to walk a newbie through installation of a new programming environment and then using it to produce something useful. After listening this book, I'm ready to start my first ML experiment.
