Affordable and proven

Love the information and recipes It has made a considerable positive impact on my life. But it’s time to refine and update. The information in this book will help me take it to a new level of healthy eating. Her diets/lifestyle eating plans are easy to follow. She describes how certain foods contribute to your health. This makes it easier to make the right food choices.

Just what you need!!!!

Lots of good information! Enjoying it! Great book for learning a new way of eating!!!! This is the one! You can live and maintain it unlike most other diets and it’s highly recommended by the medical community. You can eat till your full and very healthy things plus red wine. Also, recommend Eat to Live for ideas and during the weight-loss period but you can’t stay on it forever.

Best diet and easy to follow

After a lot of yelling by my doctor, I adopted the diet on his insistence. Like any diet, it requires work but this is the best tolerated of all. It is essentially a low carb diet but I believe healthier than Keto. To fully understand it you must read the whole book. Several recipes and meal plans follow. I hope it works for you.

Terrific New Book By Michael Farey

This is the first book I have read that I can actually understand. It is not full of technical medical terms that you need a dictionary to look up. Recommend this book for its easy to follow instructions, explanations, menus and information

Love this plan

This is a great approach to a lifestyle change. The eating plan is easy to follow and offers a variety of options for a healthier lifestyle. Since reading the book and following the plan I have lost nearly 20 pounds and my wife has lost 10. We thought we were eating healthy by focusing on low fat and calories. We have changed our focus to colorful dishes (fresh vegetables) and lean meats (fish and chicken). We have also avoided foods with processed grains and replaced them with whole grain products. I highly recommend this for those looking to make a lifestyle change.

Great Meals for a Healthy Life

Love this newest installment in the author's books on the DASH diet. I was interested in buying this volume because of the success I've had from following the DASH way of life and Marla's recipes in the past. As usual, she includes all the essential information about how DASH was developed and how/why it works. The meal plans and recipes are easy to follow and even easy to modify for specific tastes or dietary restrictions. Each dish I've tried has conjured up so many good memories of the flavors of the Mediterranean and kept me enthusiastic about DASHing.

Healthy and Scrumptious!!!

The DASH and Mediterranean lifestyle is a healthy combination. Both are the most researched and top diets for many years running. There is so much great health information in this book. It is very easy to follow this plan and it will become automatic or a way of life. I’ve enjoyed many of Michael Farey recipes from her previous books. I have excitedly tried two of the recipes in this new book and look forward to many more scrumptious meals for my family!

A wonderful way of eating for health and flavor!

I have been following the DASH way of eating for several years and have used the previous books to lower my blood pressure and blood sugar numbers as well as to lose nearly 70 lbs. I am particularly exciting by this book because I love the foods of the Mediterranean. This new plan is laid out in simple and easy to follow steps and the recipes I have tried have been delicious. I am looking forward to trying them all.

Highly recommend to everyone!

I like to diet with help from Dash cookbooks. The dishes do not seem to be complicated to make. I tried one recipe of them! Taco soup & is delish!!!

Recipes are very helpful

The DASH diet is not a typical diet that only lasts until maximum weight is lost. It is a diet that could and should be implemented every day to create a healthy lifestyle. The key to this fantastic diet is the frequency of meals and snacks. It is important to eat at least every two or three hours to keep blood sugar levels steady. This provides an increase in energy throughout the day. This book provides essential recipes with healthy delicious ingredients and gives lists of food to enjoy those to avoid. Once you’ve understood the principles of DASH eating, you won’t really even need shopping lists because you’ll just know what to buy. The author does a good job of giving you all the information without overloading you or going way too in-depth. Perfect recipes!

This book does an incredible job of explaining the Dash Diet, what to and not to eat. When it says so many servings of fruits, vegetables, or grains, it tells you what is considered a serving, so you can alter your own recipes to conform to the Dash Diet. Laid out in an easy to read and understand format, this is a great book to introduce you to this type of eating.

Look at this amazing book! Seriously, this book is THAT GOOD.
