Summary
Thobela führt ein bürgerliches Leben in Kapstadt, Südafrika. Er ist in Miriam verliebt, kümmert sich um deren Sohn und arbeitet in einer Motorradwerkstatt. Niemand weiß, daß Thobela ein Killer war, der im Namen der Befreiungsbewegung tötete. Bis eines Tages die Tochter eines alten Freundes vor seiner Tür steht. Ihr Vater, ein ehemaliger Regierungsbeamter, ist gekidnappt worden, weil er eine Festplatte mit belastendem Material besitzt. Thobela eilt seinem Freund zu Hilfe, doch schon am Flughafen wird er vom südafrikanischen Geheimdienst abgefangen. Es gelingt ihm zu fliehen - und nach langer Zeit erwachen seine alten Instinkte wieder. Auf einem Motorrad jagt er quer durch das Land.
