Really enjoyed this. Narration was brilliant. One or two characters are a bit weak, didn't take much notice of those, in my opinion, completely unnecessary.
Overall, a good story, nice twists and turns. Wonder if you'll work out who-did-it?

Thoroughly recommend this book. it has everything in it you could wish for. Exciting until the last page. I thought I had guessed the plot several times only to be wrong. I felt I knew the characters that are so well described by James Macpherson, one of my favourite narrators. . This is the first book I have read/listened to by Caro Ramsay and I am away to download another.

I wish James Macpherson could narrate every book on Audible! He is just brilliant!!
This story is great too. It's my first Caro Ramsay but I will now look for others. Not too grizzly with plenty of interesting characters. I enjoyed it enormously.
