  • Manipulative negotiation tactics people use to get you to take their deal while making it seem like it was your idea
  • Nineteen manipulation strategies predators use to lure people into their deceptive games
  • And much, much more!

Some of the topics covered in part two of this audiobook include:

  • Ego: friend or foe? A look at how ego management is an asset in negotiation
  • Don’t say that: what to avoid saying in conversation
  • Nice and effective ways to exert influence
  • How Bruce Lee inspired persuasion concepts
  • Scientifically proven principles of persuasion
  • Seduction as manipulation: Don't be a victim, but use the techniques to influence others
  • And much, much more

Packed with excellent examples.

We have all run into the extreme narcissist or the social psychopath. And hopefully not too often the far end of that spectrum! I do recommend the book. Pretty right on target advice.

Very specific,

Actually this book is very helpful when gaining some good, helpful knowledge about the evil and harm that lurks in our world. It doesn't really over dramatize, but names it, gives advice, best practices, etc. I found it helpfu

The best guide.

Virtually everything the author explains would require years of learning and practice. There is so much material covered in the book that it becomes impractical for an individual to accomplish selfish and unethical use of psychology.

Not very good

Didn't sound very scientific. More like putting sociopaths on a pedestal. Only listened to 10 minutes and that was enough.

intriguing skill enhancers with a twist

it was a good refresher on basics of persuasion with some more in depth looks at our darker sides as humans. I was surprised to see where I may have been manipulated or manipulative in my own relationships.

A bit disjointed

Sometimes it looks like a compilation of ideas and concepts from other books. There is a lack of examples as well. overall it is a good book for reference but not great .

Caveat Emptor, still not bad.

If you exercise critical reading throughout, you are probably going to be disappointed. Many assertions made with no references. No bio on the author. Still did a good job and hard work.

This isn't supposed to be political

Didn't buy this to hear political opinions of the author shoehorned in. Discredits entire work.
