A deep understanding into the mind

I have always been super interested in human behaviour and the ways in which our mind works, but never had the time to study it in the depth in which I wanted to. Recently I have found myself with a lot more time on my hands and decided to treat myself to this 6 in 1 audiobook bundle. This bundle has really blown any other dark psychology book I have read out of the water and has exceeded my expectations in term of quality and the depth of knowledge one can gain from reading it, I really hope these aren't the last books from this author on this subject as I thoroughly enjoyed them.

No longer scared to start CBT

I am due to start CBT therapy after suffering a violent trauma and wanted to know a bit more about it before starting the course so I am nio going into it totally blind. I decided to just go for the entire bundle as all of them looked very interesting, and I made the right decision for sure! The "Intro to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy" chapter has really helped me know what to expect and piut my mind at ease, as it explains it so thoroughly. I feel like I am actually looking forward to getting started now and can see some light at the end of the tunnel after a very tough year. I would really recommend this to anyone who is suffering from any sort of mental illness as it will really help you understand why you feel the way you do!

I can now set boundaries

I am a total softie and will always go out of my way to help anyone if it is in my power, whilst this is a good character trait to have it often leads to me being taken advantage of, I got this audiobook bundle in order to try and learn how to say "No", and learn how to set boundaries. It really has helped not only for these factors but also overall by improving my self confidence. The chapter "HOW TO ANALYZE PEOPLE", has been super helpful as now I can tell when people are taking advantage of my good nature or in genuine need of help. Undoubtedly 10/10!

Serial procrastinator no more!

For as long as I can remember I have always been a serial procrastinator and would literally do ANYTHING, rather than what I really need to do. This causes me a lot of extra stress in life and means I often miss deadlines or just manage to pull the work together for them in the nick of time. I really wanted to break this cycle and luckily found this fab bundle to help me. All six of the books have really opened my eyes to the power of the subconcious mind but "Using Psychology to Fight Procrastination" has been pivitol in putting this bad habit to rest once and for all. Truly, thank you from the bottom of my newly productive heart!

Become more assertive

I bought this bundle with the hope of becoming more assesrtive, as I've found the older I get the harder I find it to be direct and ask what I really want from people. Recently I have noticed that it is starting to have a negative impact of my life and really stopping me from excelling in my career as I am too scared to ask for the conditions I deserve at work. The chapter "The Psychology of Success", has been a game changer for me, especially the bit about becoming more assertive. I've put this advice into action and finally asked my boss for a pay rise, and I actually got it, Thank you to the author for helping me find my voice!

What is personality?

It is quoted: Personality is, simply put, what you are as a person, in thinking, feeling and behaving. I must say, I didn't think there were so many types of personalities to know. A lot of things are clearer to me now about a lot of people I've met. This book engages me with its content as I go along....

Wonderful 23 hour guide.

I thought it a good idea to look into this branch of psychology by purchasing the best audio on the market. In fact, I came across this "" Bestseller "" book, which as we know is synonymous with quality content ( 23 hours of audio or 747 pages ) The themes were clear and direct. I was really amazed to perceive so many well argued notions. The creator has completed an extraordinary task. I will undoubtedly prescribe this book to my loved ones.

Awareness helps us.

In life being aware of what we do is so important, because it helps us make the right decisions. Sometimes, however, awareness may lead us to not do the right things. In this book, in the chapter " The Pillars of Emotional Intelligence ", you will understand how to use it in the best way.

5 STARS on a Bestseller is a minimum.

I would have never thought that this genre on the psychological, would have an effect in real life. Actually, I have to say that the content reflects everything we do in our daily lives. I love the way the topics were presented in each chapter. Kudos to Benedict Goleman.

Easy to listen to and well spoken.

This book contains a great deal of important content that can be valuable to us. I enjoyed reading the book carefully. The book has some significant focal points like from how to recognize people's personalities then moving on to manipulation and finally persuasion on what we want from them.

The purpose of empathy

Empathy primarily has two purposes that are both directly related to emotional intelligence: it acts as a WAY through which you can self-regulate, and it acts as a MEANS of communication, primarily of non-verbal emotional signals.

What is Body Language?

It's fascinating to implement the tricks and tips, of how to observe the various body behaviors of others and make meaning. Like Crossing your arms over your chest = putting yourself on defense.
