About this listen

All New from the #1 New York Times bestselling author.

As brutal as the undead he hunted, Zacarias De La Cruz was a master executioner. Now his stark and savage journey has ended. For his brothers, Zacarias had walked to the edge of madness, but with centuries as a killing machine now left to the past and without a hunt to define him, Zacarias wonders, for the first time in his life, who he really is.

The answer awaits him back home, in Peru, in the betrayal of a woman who is readying her trap, in the vengeance of an old enemy, in the inevitable consequences of a bloody family legacy-and in the deliverance of a lifemate he never could have imagined...

Critic reviews

Praise for Christine Feehan and her Carpathian novels

“The queen of paranormal romance! The one who started it all! The erotic, gripping series that has defined an entire genre. I love everything she does.”—J. R. Ward, #1 New York Times bestselling author

“After Bram Stoker, Anne Rice and Joss Whedon (who created the venerated Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Christine Feehan is the person most credited with popularizing the neck gripper.”—Time

“Feehan has a knack for bringing vampiric Carpathians to vivid, virile life in her Dark Carpathian novels.”—Publishers Weekly

“Red-hot romance and great storytelling...a treat you can’t refuse...Thrill-a-minute fantasy with complex characters and a story that captivates from beginning to end.”—Fresh Fiction

One of my favourite in the series. Of course I have a few favourites-another one of those favourites-also includes a “De La Cruz brother” (Nicolas & Lara/Dark Curse) …

I must admit the De La Cruz’s so darn full of themselves 🤣 know-it-all, slightly chauvinist, alfa males, and yet swoon-worthy 😍 and annoying as hell most times. However we can’t but help fall in love them, as they do learn fast otherwise to their detriment, that these modern women are not about to just fall in line. Nahhhh… giggling 🤭

I swear the De La Cruz boys is worse then the Daratrazanoff brothers. Lol who would’ve thought with Gregori leading the “protect our women at all cost” blah blah blah.

I would think Razvan of the Dragonseeker, must be my ultimate kind of guy… Zachary De La Cruz will be a very close second.

Because I would probably have boxed Rafael Del La Cruz ears or kick Gregori Daratrazanoff 🤭😱😩 🤣 they was the worse “ I Am Man-You’re Woman” defenders. Laaawd a mercy.

Anyhoo… this was a great listen. Dual narration was so appreciated. The narrators did very well. I enjoyed them telling me this tale.
💕

Must love the De La Cruz’s 💕
