But when Renn follows the Tecran ship into an uncharted sector, and realizes the Tecran have been working their way to a secret moon base for weeks, he suddenly understands things are most definitely not as they seem.

Caught in the crossfire.

When the Tecran arrive, with the Grih hot on their heels, Ellie finds herself the catalyst for heightened danger to everyone. The Tecran see her as evidence of their military’s crimes, the Grih see her as a massive diplomatic complication, and her presence brings the whole confrontation up several thousand notches.

But Ellie isn’t alone, and her new friend has ways to help her. Time to outclass them all....

The narrator is really excellent and I enjoyed this instalment in the class 5 series. I still think the first one is my favourite but I have enjoyed the different plot twists that have made up each woman’s story. It seems like there are enough threads left untied to carry the series on, so fingers crossed this isn’t the last in the series.

I first came across Dark Horse; in, oh my days 2020, 5 years ago. Which I recently listened to again, as I was looking for something to read, which led me to the other books in the series. I have fallen in love with the characters. I don’t know what it is about book 5 of the class 5 series; but I feel so far it’s been my favourite. I’m about to start collision course. This series is a definite recommend read,

the performance was excellent. love that all the previous couples whore also in this book. I would recommend this serie to all that love syfy.

The first book was excellent but the rest in the series were basic copies of the first and this final book was a very pale comparison. I couldn't wait for it to end so I could move onto another author.
