Summary

Welcome to Junebug Farms, a successful, well-known animal shelter in upstate New York, where every day brings something new - love, stress, heartbreak, warmth - and not just from the animals.

Since inheriting Junebug Farms from her grandmother, Jessica Barstow's life revolves around it, and she has no time or energy for much else. Not hobbies. Not fun. Not love - certainly not love. And the new, young, and hip TV reporter who's been sent to host the upcoming fundraising telethon isn't going to change that - even though it seems like she wants to change everything else.

Sydney Taylor has zero desire to cover human interest stories in some Podunk, upstate New York hamlet, but that's where she's landed - for now. So she'll make the best of it until she can get something bigger. In the meantime, she is assigned to host the annual live fundraising telethon for some local animal shelter. It's just a job; she doesn't have time to get attached. And it doesn't matter that the rigid, keeps-to-herself CEO of the shelter is resistant to anything Sydney suggests. Or that she's super attractive and sexy. That doesn't matter at all....

Telethon Love

Wow! Ms. Beers surprises at every turn! Finally rid of Anna! Sheesh !! Another book that has so many twists and turns -- this lady writes with so much passion and deep character insights! This is another gem -- puppy love is a great series -- more please! Ms Beers nerve disappoints!! Keep on writing !!

Great story, loved how all three books tied in together. the ending like the first book was kinda short, but it left alot yo imagine. again the narration was really done well. the story was enjoyable.

5 Plus Stars!

Absolutely loved this book! Jessica and Sydney had amazing chemistry and wonderfully playful dialogue! I’m going to miss all the characters in this series and the animals from Junebug Farms.

liked but didn't love jt

I loved the performance in the three books, but I was a bit annoyed by the changes in Jessica and Catherine voices from book 2 to book 3.
As about the story, I thought it was more of the same but without a side story like book 1 (with Lisa mother struggle ) or a surprise event like boom 2 ( ~spoiler alert~ the accident)

not the best, not the worst

storyline was aan little slow and the characters weren't developped deep enough. The narrator made up for the missing atmosphere of the story. I feel like this story didn't reach it's potential. Generally ok.

another one

I love Georgia Beers books and stories. She tries to keep us guessing, but, there is a theme of how she writes. So, I'm thinking there will be another book (I'm hoping) because the abrupt ending in this 3rd was "What!!" reaction. come on Ms. Beers give us an epilogue like the 2nd book. It's still a great story. And Abby Craden does a great read. I just wish she keeps the same voices. I get why she changes them from book to book. It's still weird to hear Jessica's voice in book 2 becomes Kat's voice in this book. Jessica's voice in this book was Kat's voice in book 2!! But, you get use to it. I have to say book 2 was my favorite even though this was still worth it.

loved it

I listened to this series twice. I was able to lose myself in the story line and get into the characters lives.
