Aspiring actress Elizabeth Smart lands her centre stage role: her mutilated body is found dumped in North London’s red light district. Clasped in her hand is a piece of human hair belonging to an unidentified body of a woman murdered two weeks ago.

Aspiring actress Elizabeth Smart lands her centre stage role: her mutilated body is found dumped in North London’s red light district. Clasped in her hand is a piece of human hair belonging to an unidentified body of a woman murdered two weeks ago.

PC Donal lands himself a place on the murder squad just as his unconventional brother, journalist Finton, unearths the secret double life of Elizabeth.

The bodies mount, each clinging to the strands of hair belonging to the previous victim. The police are convinced it’s the act of a serial killer. But how does Donal convince them it’s not?

The only people he can trust are the victims he dances with in his dreams.

Critic reviews

With strong characters, hilarious dialogue and a thrilling plot, this book is a page-turner from the start. Impeccable descriptions made the story come alive and, when I thought it had ended, Nally threw another curveball. Exhilarating stuff. THE SUN

This was a better formulated story line than the first book, but still was a rushesd ending.

First class writing and story. A story with great depth and character development twists and turns aplenty. Highly recommended to any wanting a complex and throughly good listen.

I liked the authors ability to combine the factual with the fictional, it gave the book credibility, although I felt frustrated by Donal's naivete and he could be quite gormless at times.
Then in contrast the character surpassed these assumptions, when dealing with certain situations that arose through the story, to my relief,
I liked the book, and I loved the narrator.
