Practical

This was a quick initial listen, although I intend to comb through again slowly to glean all the book has to offer. Achieving goals in life is in one way or another what all people strive for whether it be personal, professional, emotional, spiritual, etc. Realizing goals is a source of personal satisfaction and general happiness in my life, and the author gives many different ways to approach them while building discipline and mental toughness. If you’re a person who enjoys learning, and challenges that lead to personal growth and happiness, then you’ll enjoy and benefit from the ideas in this book.

Great insights getting from this book!

I love to listen every single chapter. Each chapter, the author presents thoroughly thoughts, and a "Quick-Recap" is very helpful to get to its main points; it's easy to understand. I have been looking for books like this one to tip my students' practice and found it. This book is very good to have. I already recommended it to my students and I would also recommend it, particularly, to those who are struggling with their own weakness for finding ways to manage their own life as well as their success.

Self-improvement

Once again I truly enjoyed Evan Scott approach to self-improvement in "Daily Self-Discipline: Everyday Habits and Exercises to Build Self-Discipline and Achieve Your Goals". His writings are filled with actions that drive self-improvement instead of theories like many self-improvement writers. I can take what he suggests, put it into a daily plan, and monitor its effectiveness. I have listen four of his books over the last month and have noticed a significant improvement in working towards my goals.

5 out of 5, you can't get better than that

Wicked book. It has some wicked quotes and explains self-discipline is needed on the bad days. What I remember from this book, it's got heart. It gets five out of five stars because it is well written, a mini masterpiece, and quite life changing. It's what you expect from a quick book and bloody well more. I 100% recommend it. 5 out of 5, you can't get better than that.

One thing I like this book is

I have been listening quite a few books about self-discipline recently. One thing I like this book is, it is a "how to" book instead of spending a lot of time to persuade you something could be helpful. The author did his research and draw his points from there. Libtening his book is kind of like listening a good student's notes after a difficult lecture. You get the points although you couldn't remember the examples professors talked .The only thing I need to do, is to apply those rules into my real life.

Best Self-Discipline Book Ever

This has been one of the most informative, easy to follow Self-Discipline books I have ever listen. Its to the point giving you tips, techniques and facts. Then to help you retain all of the information there is a recap at the end of each chapter. I printed each of those recaps to help keep me on track.

Great book

This book is really good, maybe because he expresses thought I already had...
One thing I would mention is that I was expecting some more details.
Usually books repeat the main idea, but here it is supposed to be a How To book and here you do need to add the detailed recommendations.

Great book

I listen a lot and have recently come across some great books such as "Elite Minds" and "The Art of Mental Training". In comparison to those books, this book is added to one of my favorite books as its an easy listen, very direct and offers exercises that anyone can try to help become more self-disciplined and reach their goals!

Good ideas in one place

I have listen many books with a similar theme but it's nice to see so many ideas to try in one place. I enjoyed it, have it highlighted and will relisten as needed. Self-discipline is tricky. It's so easy for me to find myself in the "escape" mode - how can I get out of going to the gyms etc. But this offers techniques to help combat those demons. I would recommend it.

Awesome book

So far I have listen three of Evan Scott books and they all have been pretty solid. I love books and writers that are straight forward and to the point. He doesn't go all over the place. He keeps his teachings simple and blunt. Love this book! Definitely recommend it.

This book is changing my life little by little

I love the fact that this book is broken into daily listenings. I start each day listening a daily passage from this book. A lot of what's in this book really resonates with me and helps to give me a new or different perspective on forming self-discipline. I learned about this book from a friend who, in my opinion, is self-disciplined. But she listen this book regularly. I, on the other hand, have struggled with forming self-discipline. This book has really helped me.

Daily self improvement

This book really helped me to make some much needed changes to my life. Thanks to a lot of the principals I learned from this book I am now able to wake up every morning at 5AM, make exercise a daily part of my routine, and make intermittent fasting a regular part of my life.Evan Scott is truly a genius when it comes to motivating you to make self improvement a regular part of your life. I also really like that his books are short, no filler, you get everything you need in under two hours.

Outstanding and Highly Recommended

Evan Scott delivers again with a clear, concise and eminently practical manual on the fundamental quality to all forms of success in life. The focus, as always in his books is on practical exercises and techniques, rather than excessive theory or demonstrations of how clever and outstanding the author is. This is definitely a necessary, go-to manual for any kind of self-development work, whether you are a beginner or highly advanced in that area.

Very helpful toward self improvement

This book was very helpful without wasting any of your time. It is practical, easy to listen, and immediate useful. It is the type of book that even non listeners can successfully and quickly get through. You will find yourself putting the suggestions into action right away. Very helpful from the start and a great resource to refer back to as well.

Great information, quick listen

Being someone on a journey of personal growth this book spoke to me. It is a book that can be useful for people deep in their journey to people just starting to people who haven't started yet. I have done some of the exercises and they have really helped me out, even though I already thought I was very self disciplined.

Well written and to the point

The book was well written and very practical. I enjoyed the structure of each chapter; it had a very logical layout. Additionally, the end of each chapter contained a bullet point list of the concepts covered with a quick summary of each. Very nice book.

Very straightforward advice

Very straightforward advice without a lot of fluff and hard to grasp concepts. This is a book that I will listen over and over again. I will commit it to memory if I can.
