Sleep inducing

Would you try another book from Robert D. San Souci and/or Allyson Johnson?

Probably not

What didn’t you like about Allyson Johnson’s performance?

Very dry reading.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

The stories could have been interesting but the way they were written seemed like they had been translated from another language - simple sentences and textbook sounding. I was very disappointed that these engaging stories of courageous and legendary women were so sucked of life. Try a different version if you enjoy storytelling.
