Summary
From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Michelle M. Pillow comes a cozy mystery paranormal romantic comedy. Part of the USA Today best-selling series Happily Everlasting!
Welcome to Everlasting, Maine, where there's no such thing as normal.
Marcy Lewis is cursed (honestly and truly) which makes dating very interesting. With a string of loser boyfriends behind her, she’s done looking for love in all the wrong places. That is, until the new firefighter arrives in the sleepy seaside town of Everlasting.
Nicholas Logan is unlike any other man she’s ever had in her life. When someone starts sending her photographs that raise a red flag, it soon becomes apparent that she’s not just cursed. She’s in serious danger.
Nicholas doesn’t know what to make of the charismatic young woman managing the local coffee shop. As a string of mysterious fires begin popping up around town, the two unite in search of clues as to who, or what, is responsible, discovering along the way that things are very rarely what they seem to be.

Hooked from the Start
What a great read, had me hooked and tuned in to listen non-stop more or less!
A bit of everything magic, love, romance, mystery, laughter, great characters and of course curses and cupcakes.
Listened as audiobook on Audible and enjoyed the narration and kept me hooked as I listened to discover the ending with lots of intrigue, fun, laughter and love Aunt Polly.
Another place want to live is Everlasting as much as Freewild Cove.

A short, sweet, entertaining romance story.
Marcy was cursed to fall in love and get engaged over and over and with each new man a new personality and style goes along with it. The problem is that no one ever notices and she cannot tell anyone she is cursed. She also has never figured out why. Enter a familiar person, Aunt Polly (who I met in Second Chance Magic) and all of her eccentricities and hot new fire fighter Nicholas to solve three mysteries going on in Everlasting.
A short, sweet, entertaining romance story. Although it is part of a series you can listen to it as a stand alone.

Great Story
Marcy moved in Everlasting, Maine and is a reluctant witch. She works for Anna (from Fooled Around & Spelled In Love) at the coffee shop and bakery. Then Marcy meets a firefighter in training, Nicholas. They solve the mystery of the fires while falling in love. It's a cute and so likable. Marcy is so relatable with her relationships and who doesn't like firefighters (YUM!). I like this book a lot. Michelle did a good job with it. If you like this book you'll love her Order of Magic series. Light romance and plenty of paranormal, it's all good.

A good cozy story
I have found myself devouring cozy mysteries recently. Having listened to a couple of books by Michelle M Pillow and narrator B.J. Harrison I was looking forward to Curses & Cupcakes.
I found the story and narration entertaining
and easy to listen too. The voices were engaging and certainly brought the story to life.
Marcy Lewis managed the Witch's Brew Coffee Shop and Bakery (such a great name for a coffee shop).
She knows she is cursed so trying to date is a nightmare. However the newest addition to Everlasting, firefighter, Nicholas Logan is intrigued by Marcy.
When danger rears it’s head, it looks as though Marcy is the one in danger. Nicholas and Marcy join forces to investigate. What follows is a story filled with romance, mystery, humour, secrets and danger, with enough clues to keep you guessing.

Boring
Too long. The story could have been told in 2 hours. Good narrator. Need some good stories to keep up interest throughout the book. Don t waste your time or money.
