This was really average and I kind of want my time back. The CONSTANT (and I mean constant) references to other books/movie franchises was really distracting and I’m MY opinion this author is not great. The story could have had potential but I couldn’t finish.

Found the characters super derivative of other similar genre works, without being fun. I read/listen to a lot of Urban Fantasy so I’m no snob, but definitely found this one hard to finish,
