A great book. The first half of the story takes the plot to a much larger scale and it works really well. Then it's back to the usual action and adventure. There are lots of twists and turns, and I can't wait to see how they follow up the ending.

The performance was top notch as usual. I definitely noticed more music in this one butbit wasn't obtrusive and helped set the scene, so a great addition.

Honestly there are a few books in this genre that really have a kind of serious complex story or deal with issues that are both difficult or nuanced and this author writes the most fascinating and engaging stuff. I can't wait for the next one. I hope he gets it out soon.

Crowned in Black is an epic continuation of one of the best series in the genre. Both the Author and Narrators knock the story out of the park... can't wait for book 7!
