Mulholland Books presents... CROSSBONES YARD

Ray and Marie Benson killed 13 women before they were caught, tried and imprisoned. Five of their victims were never found.

Six years later, psychologist Alice Quentin discovers a woman's body on the waste ground at Crossbones Yard. The wounds are horrifyingly similar to the Bensons' signature style. But who would want to copy their crimes?

When Alice is called in to consult, her first instinct is to say no. She wants to focus on treating her patients, not analysing the mind of a murderer.

But the body at Crossbones Yard is just the start, and the killer may already be closer than Alice knows.

I will listen to the second and see where it goes. Good characters but rather a predictable plot.

An OK to start a series

It took me awhile to get into this… once I did I was ok invested… but now reflecting after finishing, I didn’t really enjoy it

Would you consider the audio edition of Crossbones Yard to be better than the print version?

I rarely buy print books as my eyes aren't too brill so I wouldn't know.

Who was your favorite character and why?

If I told you that it would give away the ending.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

All of it. This is the best book I have listened to for quite a few months. Couldn't put it down - listened to it it all in one go. Gripping.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

London based Thriller with a sting in the tail.

Any additional comments?

I was beginning to get despondent as I had not found any new authors for quite a while - until this came along. Even then I wasn't sure about buying it because of the title, but it had good reviews so I gave it a go. I am so glad I did

Brilliant
