Summary

Guilt and grief have driven a wedge between long time crime-fighting partners psychologist Tony Hill and ex-DCI Carol Jordan. But just because they're not talking doesn't mean the killing stops.

Someone is killing women. Women who bear a disturbing resemblance to Carol Jordan. And when the evidence begins to point in a disturbing direction, thinking the unthinkable seems the only possible answer.

What didn’t you like about Saul Reichlin’s performance?

his inability to give different voices to the characters. It actively distracted me from the story.

great tale shame about the reader

I really loved this book and the story is really exciting and gripping - it was such a shame however that the narration was so distracting. The accents didn’t sound like anything I’ve heard in real life and really took away from being able to enjoy the characterisation.

Not sure if I would recommend on that basis but I’m glad I persevered until the end.

Great book. Poor narration.

Fantastic listen, loved every minute of yet another masterpiece from Val.
Tony Holl and Carol Jordan at their best.

Another madterpiece
