Summary

When opposites attract....

The last thing Jenna Landry wants is to fall in love. The former rock musician is getting ready to start a new job and a new life in L.A., and she's only back in her hometown for the summer. Nothing could tempt her to stay any longer than that...not even the sexy doctor next door.

Michael Stone has a reputation for being as cold as ice. So what is it about his free-spirited neighbor that sets him on fire? The strait-laced M.D. has his hands full with his career and his teenage daughter, and even if he were looking for a relationship, he knows Jenna is all wrong for him.

So why does being with her feel so right?

Unlikely Pair

Rock star and Doctor? Certainly not what I would call a compatible couple. But ended up being a cute story. Loved the teenage daughter with the attitude. She was cute and funny as she tried to play cupid between her dad and the lady. I see that Abigail Strom has written other books. So I can only hope that they will become available on audio before long. The two narrator's of this book were very good. It was a pleasure to hear the female voice done by a female. And the male voice done by a male narrator. Really put a nice touch on the book for me.

Cute,

I enjoyed the story and the narration both. It was a cute story and it was nice to see the women in his life had most of the answers to life’s problems. Nice building on the relationship between father and daughter

Cute love story

I love R C Bray as a narrator. He could read my grocery list and I would still love his voice.

Narrators

Male voice came off too old a lot of the time. Female voice had a weird lilt at the end of sentences during emotional or steamy scenes which was off putting. The story was good.

ok

I wish Audible had ratings of content. the story was so sweet, it was read so well, there was no swearing which was really great. the pornography of the details was way too much so overall I did not appreciate this book and skipped several chapters.

2 narrators

Good story. Hard to grip a female narrator. RC is one of my favorite guys, weird to hear his voice in this genre.

1 2 3 4 Go! .. music , medicine and love

This book was grown up and I throughly enjoyed it. The references to music and medicine were so well written creating memorable characters that you want to fall in love.
Narration was well done with Michael having a cold flat tone in the beginning that sounded like the boring surgeon he was . His pitch and pace unravels with Michael feelings and what a crescendo.
