Summary

In the wake of their recent loss, the Caverns and Creatures gang are left hanging. Do their choices amount to more than waiting around to die of thirst and leaping to a quicker death?

Probably, or else this would have been a much shorter story.

Nat 1...

As I started this series - and at the start it was juvenile but an OK story - but god has it gone downhill as the series progressed - I stuck with it throughout the body parts / bodily functions / sex fixations of the 12 year old with Tourette's - or someone who thinks this is all that boys think about... I finally gave up and just couldn't finish this series.

Going around in circles

Personally I had high hopes for this entry since the party final gets back together but then the party splits again. This leaves the story just as fractured as the last entries. The story doesn't go anywhere and keeping the party split means less banter between characters and the characters that are together get stale fast.

So happy it's out!

These stories are amazing. RB cracks me up. I mean, yeah, it's a lot of fart and "your mom" jokes but come-on that s*-+s finny!

dick jokes

If you've made it this far, you know what this series is about. If you're trying to start with a new series, start at book one. Bevan tells stories like your drunk buddy at the camp fire... except you're interested, the story is coherent, and just when you think you have it all figured out, you're wrong. I absolutely love this series, I enjoy Jonathan Sleep's narration, and I highly recommend it to anyone that will listen.

A love for shit at its worst

The first 3 pages of the book set the tone for the rest when it goes into disgusting detail of coopers shit. scat fetish is on display again and crude humor. the series should have ended at book 3, this one doesn't lead anywhere ending where it started with the plot not moving forward. He at this point is dragging it out for money sake not story.

Best of the Series

In my opinion this is the best book so far in the series but takes a little bit to get going. It’s split into 4 different storylines following different groups of characters. In order from best to worst they are:

Cooper and Chaz: interesting and funny

Kat, Randy, and Denise: Also interesting and funny

Julian and Stacy: Boring. Not a huge fan of either character and as a couple they are just blah.

Dave: the most boring character in the series. I feel like this is on purpose but I’m missing an inside joke or something.

Tim isn’t around because of what happened at the end of book 5. Overall I liked the book minus a few chapters and am looking forward to the next one.

Like crack

I can't get enough. It pains me to think how long it will be for book 7 to arrive. The author's story-telling seems to be leveling up faster than his characters!

Another fantastic addition to the C&C library!

CF6 was hilarious, action-packed and thoroughly enjoyable. Jonathan Sleep portrays all characters flawlessly...as usual. I’m left anxiously awaiting the next audiobook in the C&C universe!

Another split story

Bevan splits the party again, but this book is a winner. The Cooper storyline is fantastic. The other storylines are great too, with plenty to recommend each. I'm so happy to hear the author get back to a great series, after a little bit of a stumble with books 4 and 5.

As crazy as always

Really enjoying the story and glad to see it continue, without spoiling anything I'll just say the twists and turns that were taken here were really fun, and I enjoy how some of the characters are really being allowed to grow on their own.

Jonathan Sleeps narration is incredible!

I laughed out loud so many times at Mr. Sleeps narration of what is already a funny book, his many voices makes it even funnier! His voice for Denise combined with the witty dialogue of Mr. Bevan had me in stitches! Loved it!
