Fantastic 4th instalment. Biggest problem with this audio book is the wait for the next instalment! Fantastic performance from the narrator and the story is what I have come to expect from the author. If you like your fantasy stories with a large dose of dark crude humour and a few surprises along the way then look no further! * this is the fourth book in the series (7th if you count the short story collections) and it's not really possible to jump in at this point, so don't wait, go back to the beginning and start from book one, you will fly though them!

Rowdy and rude

This 4th book is the weakest in the main storyline but still fun to "read". It suffers from less jokes that work and it jumps a lot between areas every few pages so the story isn't as well structured as the other 3.

Still liked it overall and looking forward to more from the author

Weakest of 4 books in the main storyline but...

I love this series, when I finally saw that 4 had now graced the audiobook world I downloaded as soon as possible.

This one lives up to the rest of the series so far, with stellar voice acting from Jonathan Sleep.

it just kills me knowing the 5th book is out but I've now got to wait however long for 5 to be audible'd.

Just as good as the others!

Annoyingly the hooks and twists in the story are still ok, but the gay and sexual assault jokes are really dragging this series into the gutter. I feel bad for the narrator for having to act some of this stuff out.

Story stays ok, but writing gets more juvenile
