Definitely not the next Jack Reacher
Would you try another book written by Randall H Miller or narrated by Steve Carlson?
I might, there is plenty of room for improvement.

There were so many ways this story could be made more enjoyable. Gaps in the story are explained in a paragraph rather than filling in the detail. Much like when a poor mystery writer introduces the villain in the last chapter this book has lost and undeveloped characters. Also the book doesn't really know where it is going and what it wants to be. Much of the book seems to be a fictional version of Fox News soundbites, which might make an interesting read if it was better developed. This was an outline of what could easily have been 2 or 3 good books if fleshed out and the gaps were filled in.
