Summary

After solving two cases in her first months with the FBI, Peyton feels things are beginning to come together in her career. Her personal life is another matter. Although Marco has shown signs he wants to work on their relationship, building trust will take time.

However, that progress is put on hold when an American college student is killed in London. Peyton and the Ghost Squad must venture across the pond to solve the murder and catch a killer that grows bolder with each attack, leaving only a single clue behind...

The howl of a werewolf.

Peyton and Marco again!

Well, not quite but their stories do continue. And as usual, it was full of adventure, angst and all that is uniquely Peyton and Marco. With that in mind, if this is your first book in the series, please go back to Book 0. I promise it is worth it! The characters and the plot develop and mature, like fine wine, with each new book. There are themes that stretch across the series that are best appreciated from the beginning. Peyton and Marco are still struggling to find a foothold in their budding romance. No longer partners or colleagues, with all that has affected them physically and mentally, they have to redefine themselves as individuals and as a unit. Change is inevitable but adapting is always a possibility and I think in this book we finally see what it will mean for them to be together. Their relationship, which has always been easy, will require commitment, trust and work from them both. Professionally they are becoming more settled and confident in their new positions but they also face tremendously difficult challenges. But this is Marco and Peyton, Abe, Jake, Maria, Cho, Radar, and the rest of the teams. And I just cannot help but love them all! Cannot wait to sink into the next book!!! This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
