Summary

When the body of a woman is found in rural Buffalo Springs, forensic investigator Ramsey Clark is called in. Ramsey believes in evidence, not superstition. But when another murder rocks the town, Ramsey begins to wonder if a killer is playing on everyone's fears - or a prophecy is being fulfilled.

Great plot with new Mindhunters

Loved the brilliant performance by Bronson Pinchot. Tight plot with many layers. Highly recommend this audiobook!

Enjoyable Listen With Interesting Character's.

Kylie Brant's best skill is her talent for creating interesting character's that have a lot of depth to them. If I met Striker I know I'd fall for his good looks and lashings of charm! I picture Matthew McConaughey when I think of him.
Bronson Pinchot is brilliant, he's able to carry the entire book and portay many varied character's flawlessly.
The enemies to lover's romance is a bit old hat since it's the same MO in most of Brant's books.
I loved the ending to this book, it was a nice little twist!
I listen to these books on the journey to and from work and they pass the time nicely.

A decent follow up

A good follow up to Book 1, with all the same hall marks of the first book. The lead characters are a bit same, same as the 1st book but it doesn't really spoil your enjoyment of it.

The overall story isn't as complex and original as Waking Nightmare but it does the job. The dialogue and general writing is very well executed. The author does a good job of immersing you in their world. There is a twist at the end of the book that I didn't see coming and that seems to be rare these days.

Pinchot does an amazing job portraying all the different characters with a wide array of accents and tones.

Facts just move the truth around

Well narrated, well written, in depth tale of the deaths of young girls, investigated and analyzed by the female Special Agent and her interactions with a dishy Ghost Hunter. Found myself enjoying this more than the last two published John Grishams' and the latest Michael Connelly.

Reading the other comments, the complaints there is too much "consorting" with the cops et al in this series; I know for fact this goes on lol. VERY ENJOYABLE, AND THANKS AUDIBLE FOR THE FREEBEE.

Yet another twist

Another great story with many twists and turns. Love the fact the writer is going through the characters each with their own special qualifications which make for an intriguing story. Also love the relationships between the two main characters. Looking forward to the next one

wow this is gripping

Ghosts corruption dead bodys and more enough to keep you listening way into the night, I found this story horrific in what some will do when they have warped mind's loved the southern drawl of the narrator, enjoy.
