"Preston keeps the adventure high, springing plenty of nifty surprises along the way." ( People)
"Give him lots of credit...for thrills. He can write gripping escape scenes and bloody confrontations with the best of them." ( Booklist)

Tyrannosaur Canyon

Excellent read. Made me want to stay in the car to finish the book, not easy to do for someone who is on the road as much as I am.

Great fun

This was a surprise. A nice twist on the treasure hunt / pirate genre. Definitely one of Douglas Preston's best efforts.

Great book!

Started off quick and pulls you into what's going on. I feel a bit educated after each of Preston's books!

Crichton Lite

Standard chase fare wrapped around the kind of science based story that Michael Crichton does a whole lot better.

Very Good

Interesting story line with enough twists & turns to hold your attention all the way through, though you could see a few of them coming from a mile away. The characters are very believable & I will definitely listen to more books by this author. For me, this is a straight ahead action/adventure & I was a little hard pressed to see why Audible includes this title under Science Fiction. Either way, a good read.
