Secret Smile is a gripping psychological thriller from the top-ten bestselling author Nicci French.

You have an affair. You finish it. You think it's over. You're dead wrong....

Miranda Cotton thinks she's put boyfriend Brendan out of her life for good. But two weeks later, he's intimately involved with her sister. Compelling

Initially was very frustrated by the story line but found this to be a compelling listen .

Becomes less frustrating as the story develops.

Good listen for those who like psychological thrillers.

Gripping

Really enjoyed. Mainly listened to whilst driving and ironing. Have to admit , ironed slowly as it kept me gripped. Totally believable although once or twice I thought it was a big daft towards the end but on the whole thoroughly enjoyed

engaging story and an easy listen

the narrator was good, sounded like she had a cold but at emotional parts it helped make it sound authentic. I think the ending could have been expanded more as it sounded like an after thought rather than a twist, but I liked it and if you want an interesting easy listen with a good narrator and characters then download this one.

loved this book

Really enjoyed this book, some of the characters and their voices were so infuriating that i couldn't wait to finish the story and hope they get what they deserve. Nicci french books are always gripping and well written. The narrator was good too, although i HATED Brendons voice!!

Excellent narrator

A great story, but it was the narrator that made it, I would highly recommend and look forward to reading more from these authors.

Convoluted!

I’m only half way through this book but I’m finding it so confusing. I’m hoping the plot becomes better but it seems so non-sensical at the moment. Hoping it gets better so I can give a good review!

Very average, disappointing

An average story that could have been so much more than it was, it was at best a “chick flick book”
The narration didn’t help, it was too soft & delicate giving it the “chick flick” vibe.
I saw it through to the end which had a neat twist that was too understated, could have been written better imho!
