I work for RM.

First I must say I did enjoy this book ... BUT, unfortunately, I work for Royal Mail and found the RM speak totally, annoyingly wrong.
RM has it's own language e.g. No postie has a round - they have walks. You sort at a main frame or a fitting. The RMIB is the IB and you will generally only come into contact with them when they have enough evidence will you meet them - they will then escort you from the building to search your car & your home. These are a few of the more obvious errorz.
But I did enjoy the book.

Very much the same

whilst I have really enjoyed this book and a few others that K.L Slater has written it seems like it’s almost the same story as a later story she wrote. I’ve not read them in order and think this one is the first, it’s still a good listen and I couldn’t stop once it had started. Love the narration and would recommend it to anyone.

Wouldn’t read again

I found this book to be a bit meh. I heard several errors which made me lose interest! And it seemed like each character was trying to out-crazy the previous.

Enjoyed it thoroughly

I found the beginning a bit slow, then I got into it and finished it in one day. Such an interesting twist.

PAINFULLY BAD Scottish accent, awful narrator

Would you be willing to try another one of Lucy Price-Lewis’s performances?

Absolutely not. This is the second performance of hers I have downloaded, and I actually returned the other one. Her Scottish accents are a complete joke, insulting and painful to listen to. It spoils it for me.

Just as the title says: a psychological thriller..

There were many times I was on the verge of giving up listening, but just give it another chapter and another. It is so intense. It played with my mind and unnerved me. wanting me to cry out: What are you doing? Don't do it! So many twists and until the end I really wasn't sure what to think. But glad I finished it. Basically Anna has big issues. So does Liam and so does Amanda. All their issues and pasts interweave (well the woman's do) as they are unravelled and revealed to the reader. A real psychological thriller that will make you wonder. Warning: don't listen to it as you yet yo go to sleep at night!

A Little Predictable

Overall worth listening to. There were some very obvious clues throughout, with enough red herrings to just about keep you guessing. The story ended a bit abruptly with the recap. It was well read by the narrator.

A bit slow

A good story and well narrated. However, I found it a little slow and almost bleak but still worth considering
