Old school Bond style minimal spy fiction

Just fantastically paired down spy fiction... Very Fleming, with a choppy cut down writing style that feels like Paul Greengrass has trimmed the narrative for filming. Like reading McCormacks Road you have to get into the raw simple use of language. The story isn't very PC, there's a wiff of misogynistic seventies views of women but as I said very Fleming...
