WONDERFUL FANTASTIC I LOVE ❤️McLEVY

I love McLevy ! ❤️These are fantastic well produced wonderfully acted shows based on the true accounts of the real Scottish Victorian Inspector McLevy and I never get tired of listening to them. I own the full 12 Series and NEED MORE PLEASE! But having spoken with the writer (McLevy’s boss) also played by the writer David Ashton; he tells me the BBC have no intentions of producing any more. This is very sad 😪😪😪 WE LOVE ❤️McLEVY !

Which character – as performed by Brian Cox and Siobhan Redmond – was your favourite?

Brain Cox is a marvellous acting in his role as our all of the cast simply wonderful acting by all ..

A Cut Above

This is one of the best. It rivals Inspector Morse , Poirot and comes close to Sherlock Holmes. Mclevy is played to perfection as is the rest of the cast. Every episode is as good as the last.

Terrific ensemble! Brian Cox et al are wonderful!!

If you could sum up McLevy: The Collected Editions: Series 11 & 12 in three words, what would they be?

Finest acting!

What was one of the most memorable moments of McLevy: The Collected Editions: Series 11 & 12?

Mclevy's interaction with just about anyone but especially with Jean Brash.

What about Brian Cox and Siobhan Redmond ’s performance did you like?

Their dialogue and spats are flawless. Their relationship is so well developed.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

His own tag lines about I am JM and Leith is my parish etc.

Any additional comments?

I've really enjoyed this series, can't get enough of it. All the characters are developed over the series.. The accents stand out best. The earlier story lines are the richest. Can really recommend these.

A real gem.

I have now listened to all the radio productions of Mclevy and it's a shame that the BBC haven't commissioned another series. A great cast which delivers superb performances from the excellent writings of David Ashton.

Superb.

I have very much enjoyed all the series of McLevy on radio and was delighted to see that most are available to buy on Audible. Well-written, excellent characterisations, beautifully performed. Highly recommended.

I’m sorry this is the last of the series.

Great entertainment. I developed a great affinity for the characters and their relational growth over the course of the series- I’ve enjoyed these dramatizations so much I’ve purchased some of the audiobooks. Whether they are as good wont diminish my pleasure of theses radio dramas-

So Sad to React the End

I've listened to every story in every series several times, and came to this last set with immense sadness. I might have envisioned a different denouement, but in keeping with the darker nature of the stories, the conclusion satisfies. I hope others discover this treasury of incredible radio drama.
