"No amount of money can turn back the clock."

A superlative series. Walt Williams, the 69 years old cop, is his usual chatty self, telling tales about, and speculating on the wider consequences of, his exploits with the police as well as things said and done by friends. This time it's drugs, and personal liberty as well as meeting two old men who have just become super rich - and want to change the world.
As always, George Kuch's reading perfectly captures the character of Walt, warm, thoughtful, occasionally conflicted, very humerous, an excellent teller of tales. And his voicings of the other protagonists is also well performed.
A perfect pairing of story and narrator.
    Excellent.

    "Lady Justice and winners"

I absolutely love this series. Love all the characters especially Walt, Ox and extended family. This book is about Earl and Morty winning a huge lottery and their troubles following. It has serious moments and laugh out loud ones. Enjoyed the reference with Star Track and colon cleansing. Great narration as usual. Highly recommend this series who enjoy fun mysteries and need break from the dark. It shows your only old as you think. THANK YOU!!!!

"Walt is a Star Trek fan!!!"

    law-enforcement, seniors, situational-humor, verbal-humor, audiobook -------------------
The good guys of the SLPD are back! A different pair of retired guys win the lottery and engage a cousin who is a good lawyer to help them to avoid the pitfalls that other lottery winners have faced. There are a lot of other lessons to be learned, and Walt and Ox are right in the middle of the stickiest ones. We also learn a little about the use of drones, and even a little visit by Captain Kirk/William Shatner. Be ready for lots of laughs!
George Kuch is the voice of Walt and crew, and continues to do a fantastic job.

    "I love this series"

Walt Williams is the McGuyver of the police department with some of his antics to save people or stop the criminals. He an Ox get themselves in trouble with their wives which is hilarious. I wasn't quite onboard with a show of Walt and Ox. I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom.

    "Great Story!"

I really loved the Star Trek references, and the convention with all the "weirdos" which i can call them that because i would for sure go to one if i was able and join in with the weirdos :) The Narrator did a great job with how William Shatner speaks in starts and stops... LOL! I really liked how the different stories going on in this book were not so far afield from each other to start out like in some of this other Lady Justice books. They all come together very nicely in the end but i like how i could see more clearly in this book how they all linked up. Love all the "old" characters and it was nice to have a couple new ones come in and give a little different perspective and throw monkey wrenches into the plans. Oh what it would be like to win the lottery!!!

    "Once again great story."

Robert Thornhill has done it again. When I first started listening and they were talking about Star Trek (I am not a fan) I thought oh no not going to like this one. But I was wrong. The story line soon go really interesting and not at all Trekkie. George Kuch once again out does himself.

    "Delightful!"

I love this series and find they keep getting better and better. Robert Thornhill is a very talented author and writes so well and has some of the best humor. He is able to have several stories going within one book that tie together so well. George Kuch is able to consistently perform so many characters within the book and sound age appropriate for each of them. He has a magical way of delivering the humor that is laugh out loud. Maybe its my age, but I totally get these books and the locale. I love how the author pulls actual events and encompasses them into the books. I cannot recommend this book (and series) enough! I am so looking forward to the next adventure of Walt, Ox, Maggie and the crew. I requested a review copy of this book and have voluntarily written this review.

"Walt & Ox take Star Trek!"

I adore this series! This time Walt & Ox head into a Star Trek convention undercover to catch a thief. There were tons of laughs to be had as they navigated that world! We also got to meet 2 new characters who are also "old timers" and they fit right in with the whole gang! Not to mention there are some fun surprises in the plot with The Kansas City PD.
Each of these books somehow get better! As usual George Kuch narrates Thornhill's characters in a way that no on else can.

    "Another great Lady Justice book"

In this book, Walt and the gang are in for an interesting ride with two new characters that fit in perfectly with the group. I love this series and will read and listen to them as long as they are written. Along with the great writing is the perfect narrator. He is the best. I received this audio book for free at my request and voluntarily reviewed.
