    "Broken recording - avoid purchase!!!"
    Any additional comments?

As mentioned by other users the recording is broken around 6 hours 40 minutes in for me. Very frustrating when you are that far into the plot!

    "Glad I Found This Book"
Would you consider the audio edition of I Found You to be better than the print version?

Very much so for me, I have sight difficulty and so it is easier to listen. the reader managed to convey every aspect of the book to me.

What was one of the most memorable moments of I Found You?

When Gray was trying to free his sister and himself, with broken wrist from danger.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

Frank and Alice's interaction with the little girl.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Maybe, but also I would have liked to listen to the characters for a long time.

    Any additional comments?

Wonderful book, so many twists and turns, I can't stop thinking about it

    "Such a page turner!"
What made the experience of listening to I Found You the most enjoyable?

The narration was perfect, the story was compelling, I couldn't stop listening!

What other book might you compare I Found You to, and why?

I think The Girl on the Train, but this one was better.

Which character – as performed by Antonia Beamish – was your favourite?

I liked them all. She gave all the characters their own voice. You could very well hear who was talking when. I loved how she performed Lily though.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

YES! I was annoyed every time when I had to stop listening because I either got to work or home. Sigh. Such a page turner!

    Any additional comments?

The story keeps you pulled in the whole time. You think about who Frank is, you think about what Alice has to do in the story, How are they all connected? And you don't find out anything until the very very end! So you just keep being sucked in! It's a great story and I have to find out if Lisa wrote more books like this!

    "Completely Absorbing"

As the years have gone on, Lisa Jewell's writing has taken on a whole new form. This novel is really quite different from her previous novels, it reminded me a lot of The Truth about Melody Brown but with a male protagonist instead, I really enjoyed this very original novel!

This book is told from varying times and narratives, all woven together with Lisa Jewell's fabulous linguistic skill. The way this book is structured, it draws you in and makes you definitely utter that phrase 'one more chapter!' I think this was definitely my favourite aspect of this novel. I love a dual or multiple narrative, and because of the mystery aspect of this particular novel, you have to keep reading on to see what clues there are, as to the mystery man, in the next section of the book!

I didn't necessarily warm to the characters in this novel as much as I did to some of the other characters that Lisa has created. Lily's side of the story is definitely very interesting and definitely helps lead us to who the mystery man might be, but we don't learn an awful lot about her as a person, we don't need to, and so I think this is why I didn't warm to her. Alice is the classic mother hen and I really like the fact that she has to push her own boundaries in order to look closer to see not just a man who needs her help but someone she can help discover who he is! The man in question is definitely interesting and I loved finding out more and more about him and the story unravels.

Another things about this book that I definitely did identify with was that one of the main families is from Harrogate and another is from Croydon, that's basically my marriage and so that was fun to read! Overall this was an incredibly engrossing book. I love Lisa Jewell as a writer and she has the power to hook me in and keep me turning pages until that book is done! I definitely recommend this book to Lisa Jewell fans, and if you are new to this author then you are definitely in for a treat!

    "dont buy recording is awful"
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

A proper audio recording..i missed 90% of the last half of book due to audio skipping over large chunks of text (a total of 3 hours in fact)

Has I Found You put you off other books in this genre?

    yes

Who might you have cast as narrator instead of Antonia Beamish?

    shes alright shes totally brilliant

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

    poor story

    Any additional comments?

I cant return books any more even though audible claims you can return unwanted items

    "Rubbish"

Badly written, nonsensical rubbish. Unbelievably poor story, weak characterisation and only finished it because we were stuck in a long car journey. Waste hours of precious listening time on this worst novel ever
