Summary

Inside the opulent palaces and lavish mansions, the royal family is ransacking the country's dwindling coffers while the desert kingdom seethes with unrest.

Appalled at his family's extravagant lifestyle, Crown Prince Nasir vows to end the careless and destructive rule and sets in motion a top-secret operation to destroy the Saudi oil industry and bankrupt the monarch. To do so, he must enlist the help of an ally, a naval power willing to help Sturn for a share of the wealth....

International intrigue, double cross and revenge

Where does Hunter Killer rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

A solid technothriller (the author puts the book in this 'genre' and an enjoyable listen. Could have been shorter without losing anything in my view.

What did you like best about this story?

The portrayal of french politicians ;-)
Interesting premise as to the sustainability of the Saudi ruling family and its economy. Food for thought

Which character – as performed by George Guidall – was your favourite?

Ret'd Admiral Morgan is still a great character if a little larger than life

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Not really as its too long for that but it definitely keeps you coming back for more

Any additional comments?

Please release Nimitz & Kilo Class as audio books. Read them both several times but I'd love to listen to the audio versions

Patrick Robinson Hates the Brits

Brilliant story, well read. But Patrick Robinson obviously hates the Brits. I've read 3 of his stories and they are great. However, he will use any opportunity to have a go at the Brits and I would love to know why?

well narrated.

good tale, draws you in with good description and just enough detail to capture the action.

oh dear

perhaps going straight from an accurately detailed and realistic Frederik Forsyth novel to this was never going to end well.

Beautiful Masterpiece

The book was a little long, but the story couldn’t be faulted in any way. The style, narration, thrill, & suspense makes this one of those books that was very hard to put down. Excellent listen & would definitely recommend

Far too fantastic to be believable

Excellent narrator, but the story is far too fantastic to be believeable. It's a shame given I really enjoyed all other Patrick Robinson books.

I would recommend this book to all

The story was well written , well narrated, credible and exciting. I have read books for many many years but have found Audible to fit perfectly into modern life and times. There will always be the written word but Audible is simply the book in your pocket .

If only the UK had an Admiral Morgan.

The concept of this book was superb. In a small way I could see the French attempting something like this. Arne as always, the star of the book.
