Summary

Ann Silver is a cop’s cop. As the Midwest Homicide Investigator, she is called in to help local law enforcement on the worst of cases, looking for answers to murder. Hers is one of the region’s most trusted investigative positions. Paul Falcon is the FBI’s top murder cop in the Midwest. If the victim carried a federal badge or had a security clearance, odds are good Paul and his team see the case file or work the murder.

Their lives intersect when Ann arrives to pass a case off her desk and onto his. A car wreck and a suspicious death offer a lead on a hired shooter he is tracking. Paul isn’t expecting to meet someone, the kind that goes on the personal side of the ledger, but Ann Silver has his attention.

The better he gets to know her, the more Paul realizes her job barely scratches the surface of who she is. She knows spies and soldiers and U.S. Marshals, and has written books about them. She is friends with the former vice president. People with good reason to be cautious about who they let into their lives deeply trust her. Paul wonders just what secrets Ann is keeping, until she shows him the John Doe Killer case file, and he starts to realize just who this lady he is falling in love with really is....

Story should get a 10 outta 5 rating! BEST yet!

I've been a Dee Henderson fan since her Prequel to the Omalley Series. BUT 'Full Disclosure' goes above and beyond ALL expectations! MASTERPIECE! Leaving me wanting for MORE and to even revisit the earlier 'Stories', reminiscing on the lives and 'friends' she introduced us to...and now eludes to in this EPIC Masterpiece, a tapestry of lives you are familiar with, woven together in such a heart felt way that you feel you are in the midst of the CORE FAMILY gathering, catching up with loved ones. The intensity and twists the action and drama takes you on is exquisitely balanced by the incredible sense of FAMILY love and support. . .ALL of whom have found HOPE, in the Father, the Son and 'Lovely'! "Anne's" intimate, heart felt description of 'Lovely' is one the has touched me to the depths of my relationship with Him...my thoughts have often wandered back to that chapter reflecting on my own experiences communicating with Him...makes my heart smile! :)

Brilliant Henderson just not for me !

I you could cut out a page here and a page there, I think de Vries wouldn’t have been as wrong for this THING !
The brilliant story is relegated to Sunday school.
The Bible-humping totally ruins the pro. cut suspense and your left with a feeling of wasted money !
But if you’re looking for a new New Testament this would be brilliant for approximately 20 % the south of USA but the rest of the world weir just not that in**** !

Enjoyable but not her best work

Henderson has never been able to repeat the magic of the O'Malley series (particularly the first few books in that series which I thought were particularly excellent), but I enjoyed this story more than some of her other books. However, it really bothered me that she made out that the main character, Ann Silver, wrote the O'Malley series. For me, it heavily detracted from the "suspension of disbelief" necessary to enjoy the story- it took something away from the fictional world of the characters as well as adding a weird vibe that she was trying to give herself a more interesting past. That said, I enjoyed the book on the whole and thought the narrator did an excellent job.

Frustrating

The crime writing in this book is really good and the story had me in suspense. The frustrating parts were the overlong diversions into slushy romance and theological discourse. I'm certainly not against romance but it completely interfered with and took the pace away from the crime element of the book which spoilt it for me. With an audio book you can't easily skim through pages! I won't be buying any more of Dee Henderson's titles if this book is anything to go by. Crime 9/10, but spoiled by mistaken idea of weaving it with a romantic novel.
